Eating Out

Siem Reap has some splendid places to eat and drink: here are just a few Recommendations

Molly Malone's

Stylish Irish Run Bar / restaurant on "Pub Street " Near Old Market; with  occasional live music!

Angkor Mondial

Purpose built Dance theatre and restaurant which holds nightly Apsara Dance Shows.  On the River front in the Old French Quarter. The Dance Shows are spectacular and the 'all you can eat'  buffet dinner has a great choice of high quality fare.

Dead Fish Tower

A unique dining experience in the centre of Siem Reap; weird and unconventional decor delightfully eccentric as is the service!

 Sivatha Street.

Rosy Guesthouse and Bar

Friendly and sociable English hosts with western food. English Style Roast a specialty

On the River road near La Noria; a few minutes walk from our villa.

The Singing Tree

An attractive new open air cafe off Wat Bo Road. It is more of a community centre with Khmer and Yoga Classes and Music sessions at weekends.

The Mandalay Inn, Sivatha St

Lovely Burmese (Myanmar) , Khmer and Asian food in unpretentious friendly surroundings just moved round the corner from Sivatha St in centre of town; excellent value.

The Blue Pumpkin now relocated along Hospital Road nearer to the Old Market

Stylish French run cafe and patisserie with pastries and donuts to die for!  It lacks the charm of the original but is a cool place to relax with wi fi internet for customers

Neary Khmer Restaurant: a delightful open air restaurant a short walk from our villa  serving mainly Khmer Dishes with an extensive menu

FCCC Foreign Correspondents Club of Cambodia next to the GPO.

Very stylish and airy restaurant along the river,  Quality and service second to none and an nice place for iced coffee while writing postcards!! Food is a bit costly though!

The FCCC has large video screen and shows movies and some major sporting events live .

Also houses the new John Mc Dermott Photo Gallery and regular photo exhibitions from other photographers.

Arun Restaurant On the River Road  (close to Peace of Angkor Villa)

An old established restaurant Which has been getting good recommendations from our recent guests Must try it Soon :-)

Victoria Angkor

This Smart 5 star hotel is across the park front the Grand Hotel D' Angkor, although only built in 2004 it has an old world charm that belies its age. The poolside bar is one of Coll and Dave's favorite places for a drink or snack.
