Peace of Angkor Tours

Organised by a photographer with 30 years experience and professional tour guides who understand the needs of photographers & adventurous travellers.
We run an exciting programme of photo adventures to remote sites of Angkor, Tonle Sap Lake and new wildlife orientated tours.

Our group tours are for those who really want to get the heart of Cambodia.

We make time to enjoy the sights at a relaxed pace and make unscheduled stops to get that unique experience of local life which would otherwise be missed.

Rural Cambodia is full of opportunities to meet people and they are usually willing to have their photos taken.

The temples are spectacular; but seeing the countryside and meeting the people with a small groups like ours; make a trip to Cambodia an enriching and rewarding experience.

Custom Angkor Tours Custom tour: will suit photographers on a budget. These are individually planned itinerary and guide who will take you to the best photo locations around Angkor. Sunrise at Angkor is included. Food and temple passes are not included. There will be additional fees for locations outside the Angkor Park i.e. Banteay Srey, Roluos Price for 2 persons $75 This tour must be booked in advance

Day tour prices start from $25-$55 per day + admission fees + food . Costs will vary depending on the numbers and transport needed.
Many tours require a Temple Pass $20 per day, $40 3days & $60 1 week. Please bear this in mind when planning costs.
Our tours are intended to be a service for Guests of Peace of Angkor. So please book with us to ensure that you can join our special tour Programme.

Transportation

Good safe reliable transport is most important for our tour clients . an incompetent driver or badly maintained vehicle can ruin the experience of a lifetime at Angkor!

We have a reputation which is second to none and use good drivers and properly maintained vehicles for a safe experience. We pay our drivers, guides and staff well so we get the best.

Our tours are not cheap for this reason.

We use Toyota Hi Ace minivans for our temple and most group tours. These have comfortable seats, A/C and most important of all: excellent professional drivers.

Our principal driver Phum Deth drives a Mercedes 15 seat minivan which is ideal for our tours.

Deth has been driving for us since we started tours in 2004, he understands our photography needs and is a thoroughly nice kind guy.

The cars we use are Toyota Camrys with a/c and competent English Speaking Drivers

For many of our off the beaten track tours we use Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8 turbo diesel. Our best driver Chher has wide experience of the remote sites we visit He has driven for us since 2004.

New for 2008 Toyota Landcruiser 1HZ

This vehicle is not a typical luxury US imported status symbol. It is set up for serious off road travel!

It has the same 4.2 litre 6 cylinder diesel and manual 4WD transmission as the legendary Toyota troop carriers.

Our cruiser is the toughest 4x4 around and one of the best vehicles of its type operating from Siem Reap.

For your comfort and safety; air conditioning, good supportive seats with belts and passenger liability insurance give security.
